Your visa type adds its own papers — an invitation for family visits, a company letter for business. The checklist on the official portal is the one that counts.
Is Estonia the right country?
Apply to Estonia if it is your main destination — where you will spend the most time. If your stays are equal, apply to the country you will enter first. You apply in the UK because you live here, and most embassies want your UK permission to last at least 3 months after you return.
Regular or Prime Time?
Regular appointments run in normal opening hours at no extra cost. Prime Time ones are outside the usual hours, and the visa centre charges extra for them. The visa type cards above show which queue each one is in.
Which visa type is yours?
- Tourist
- Holidays, sightseeing and short breaks.
- Business
- Meetings, conferences and trade fairs, usually with a letter from the company you are visiting.
- Family & friends
- Staying with people you know, usually with their invitation and proof they live there legally.
- EU family
- For family members of EU, EEA or Swiss citizens who travel with or join them: no visa fee and fewer papers.
Checked against official sources in October 2026: European Commission — applying for a Schengen visa. Rules and fees change, so the official checklist for your appointment always wins.

- Watches for open slots and alerts you. Nothing else.
Before you book
- Create your login on the official portal today, so booking a slot that opens is a two-minute job.
- Keep every applicant's passport number and travel dates in one note, ready to paste.

Questions
How do I book an Estonia visa appointment from Cardiff?
You book on the official portal. Visamigo only tells you when a slot opens — we never book, hold or resell appointments for you.
How much does an Estonia visa cost?
The Schengen visa fee is €90 for adults and €45 for children aged 6 to 11; children under 6 pay nothing. The visa centre charges it in pounds and adds its own service fee.
How long does an Estonia visa take?
Usually about 15 calendar days from your appointment, and up to 45 if the embassy needs more checks. Apply no earlier than 6 months and no later than 15 days before you travel — earlier is safer.
Why does the page sometimes say “None reported”?
It means nothing has been reported open recently. It is not a promise that there are none — slots can open at any time, which is why alerts are more reliable than checking by hand.
What does “Last check” mean?
It is the last time this centre was really checked. If monitoring pauses, the page says “Paused” rather than showing a fresh-looking time.
